I have arranged a nineteen piece showing of my photographs at the local library! The young adult department has decided to let me the first featured solo artist! This is quite an opportunity, and I am very lucky to have secured it. I will be going through my portfolio with some advisers and choosing which negatives will be reprinted and matted for exhibition. The work will be up for at least a month, but they may hang for the entirety of the summer! I have A LOT of work to do to prepare for this. Ok, spring break is here, which means I have no darkroom access. But I DO have my cameras and plenty of film, and I hope to amass some negatives to work with, as I printed those that I felt were worthy. I have some new images to post, including the last of my obsession with the digiredoo. I have an extreme blowup of a an earlier picture that I will be turning into a avatar, and some prints that I will scan today for posting before I mat them. This piece, when finished, will hopefully be hung in the local library. I will be getting a mat cutter soon to finish it off. Nearly every time I have forgotten my camera! But no worries, I did get a couple of photos taken and prints will be up as soon as I can. Otherwise, things have been going slow all around. I should be able to pick up the pace once things settle down a bit. Something that many of you might find interesting or exciting, I am writing a comic book, or graphic novel, whichever you prefer. I am currently working on the manuscript, which appears to me to be quite promising. I have an artist who expressed interest in illustrating it, and as it matures I shall post what I can.
