I have arranged a nineteen piece showing of my photographs at the local library! The young adult department has decided to let me the first featured solo artist! This is quite an opportunity, and I am very lucky to have secured it. I will be going through my portfolio with some advisers and choosing which negatives will be reprinted and matted for exhibition. The work will be up for at least a month, but they may hang for the entirety of the summer! I have A LOT of work to do to prepare for this. I have to have all nineteen pieces printed and matted by the first of may. I got the mat cutter, and it works very well, so I will be able to do that myself as well. I need to order more supplies, and decide one what paper I will be printing on. It appears that I will stick to the old ilford standby if I do not have time to try some others out. It is all very exciting!
